Over the 5+ year history of Hope B~Lit, we have become involved in many national and international projects that are focused on enhancing the core human values in children. Listed below are some of the projects that Hope B~Lit is currently pursuing Project VIDA Vital Intervention and Directional Alternatives (VIDA) is a
structured program for non-violent, at-risk youth between the
ages of 11 and 17½. Through collaboration between the Los Angeles County
Sheriff’s Department, community-based organizations, volunteers,
schools and families, the program teaches youth the value of effective
decision-making and taking responsibility for their futures.
Hope B~Lit has worked with the VIDA program and has conducted over 100 workshops based on human values, social skills, parental abuse, divorce, creativity, etc. in the LA county Sheriff’s department. These workshops have helped shaped the young minds of ‘at risk’ children into healthy ways of living. For more information about the VIDA program, please click here.
